Welcome to our Autumn Newsletter!
The Autumn is now well and truly upon us. I hope you had an enjoyable summer (if you can recall ?!) and managed to get away and have a good break...
Since we were last in touch, the Summer period has been a time of significant personal change for some of the team, Julie Jones who, having just celebrated her 20th year of service with NICHOLS, tied the knot in glorious style.
Our two new Research Consultants, Jo and Sharon, are settling in well, and we also wish Harvey Quinn every success in his acting career which has rapidly taken off for him this year – look out for him playing the part of Andrew Ridgeley in a new film about George Michael and Wham!
We have had a busy period of activity across the team, with our searc hes in the Middle East, Eastern Europe and East and West Africa coming to successful conclusions, and new ones starting in South Africa, UK/I, and Germany. Despite the economic and political headwinds, we continue to charge ahead, and of particular note, the level of interest in our strategic talent pipelining approach (MAP & TRACK) has been very high with new exciting projects on the horizon for 2018.
Thank you for your support and engagement with the NICHOLS team and appreciate being in touch...
Some snapshots of the team over Summer 2017...from San Francisco to St.Davids!
On 3rd August 2017 I was whisked off my feet – literally! I got married to the lovely Barry at Spring Cottage in the grounds of Cliveden House Hotel in Buckinghamshire, with our children, Amy, Charlotte and Sam, and our faithful hound, Gus the Boxer. Celebrations started with a boat ride on the River Thames with Pimms and canapés (leaving the dog at the hotel) – and culminating in a surprise helicopter ride over Buckinghamshire, organised by my wonderful new husband!

What else is going on?
June Wang, one of our Senior Research Consultants, has just made an exciting move from London to Beverley in East Yorkshire and is setting up home there with her partner. June has deployed her tenacity in furnishing her new home and has encountered some interesting antique centres and junk shops in the local area. This has been a real eye opener for June and, as a result, has fallen in love with Art Nouveau! We wish June every happiness in her new abode...
ABOUT June; Born in Taiwan, June has lived and worked in the UK for the last 20 years or so, and has been part of the team here at NICHOLS for four years now. June is now studying for an MBA alongside her work through Leicester University.
