Our team have had a very busy start to the year and there is no sign of any slow down out there despite some pretty chunky economic and political headwinds...! Where have we been over the last few months? Well, we’ve had searches in East and West Africa, Malaysia, Eastern Europe and the Middle East, and been searching for talent as far as Australia and Japan for some roles. Europe has been strong, in particular Central and Northern Europe so far this year.
Change is our one constant and being able to adapt to the market and operate flexibly in how our international clients wish to source and hire new talent has helped fuel our business.
We’ve been building our team further this year - hiring new people of our own, as well as recognising those who have put in considerable effort and time working at NICHOLS. Thank you for your support and engagement with the NICHOLS team and its good to be in touch...
Gavin McCartney, Managing Director
We’ve celebrated a significant milestone with 20 years of service! Julie Jones, our Administration Director, started at NICHOLS in February 1997 and subsequently became a Director of the company in 2004. For our clients and candidates who have spoken to Julie will know that she is dedicated to providing a top level of service but also with a smile and friendliness like no other. We marked this special occasion with a celebratory lunch at Marcus Restaurant, The Berkeley hotel in London.
We are pleased to announce that we have brought two new Research Consultants on board – Jo Tickle and Sharon Rigler. Strengthening our research capability, both Jo and Sharon have interesting professional career backgrounds bringing experience and knowledge about different businesses and people.
Harvey Quinn is also a new member of the team and is supporting our Business Development activity and relationship management. Harvey has a strong background in recruitment both as a practitioner and in sales.
We welcome Jo, Sharon and Harvey to NICHOLS.
